Cheetah Hunt Rhino Rally Canyon Track

Today we headed out to see if they had done any construction during this holiday week and they did but not were you think they would.  They haven't done anything further with the figure 8 tower or drop but they moved over to the former Rhino Rally canyon, they placed a ton of track and it is shaping up to be a great coaster. They are also working on the facade of the building along with other theming near the station. 2011 Event Line Up Including Bands,Brew and BBQ, Viva La Musica, and Ramp Jam!

Big names in country, Latin, and classic rock, plus a New extreme sports series are coming to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in 2011. It’s the biggest lineup yet with country and classic rock legends at Bands, Brew & BBQ, Viva La Música’s chart-topping salsa and meringue, and Ramp Jam – a brand-new event featuring BMX, skateboarding and in-line skating by some of the sport’s top athletes. 

Bands, Brew & BBQ offers four weekends of smokin’ hot fun. Enjoy sizzling live performances from award-winning country and classic rock artists, sample dozens of  craft and international beers and fire up your taste buds with food from your favorite local restaurants as well our own famous, blazing barbecue.

This April, the ASA Action Sports World Tour amps up the excitement at Busch Gardens with the world’s best pro skateboarders, BMX riders and inline skaters shreddin’ a 14’ tall half-pipe. Live local bands, great food, the latest surf and skate gear complete the festival April 9-10 and 16-17.

Cheetah Hunt Figure 8 Tower Completed

Today we headed out to see if they completed the figure 8 tower and they did. The whole tower with all the figure 8 track is up and they are working on the drop. Crews were busy working inside the station and around the front of the station as well as pretty much all over the Cheetah Hunt footprint! Theming is starting to form around the over-banked turn and they are finishing up the footers around the Rhino Rally area.
