Cheetah Hunt Signs, Banners, Test Seat, Promos & New Construction Walls!

Today we headed out to check out the Cheetah Hunt construction and even more signs and banners have been put up!
Over by the station, a Quick Queue sign has been added which is great because the coaster will be packed and it will help with the long lines! Also, a new sign for Lockers has been added to the stairwell area. One of the coolest new things today was that the test seat for Cheetah Hunt arrived and is in place in front of the station. This is great new for some of the heavier guests so they can make sure they fit in the seat before riding.
The Skyride entrance got a sign and it looks fantastic The digital wait time sign was being worked on and should be great as it will provide a more accurate wait time. Also, Cheetah Gifts got its sign which is a nice blue color. If you remember, we announced the name of the gift shop a few months ago!
Theming is also being added to the base of the wooden poles and various areas around the station. The other side of the building is also getting some theming with a new texture on the walls which looks great.
Now to stray away from Cheetah Hunt for a little bit, new construction walls have popped up around the old Elephant Habitat. It looks as if it is more than just a general refurb to the area and we hope to find out more about it soon! They also have new promos around the entrance to the park for Cheetah Hunt using the tagline "Zero To Cheetah". They also show a nice picture of the Cheetah Hunt trains that show off the actual train instead of concept art! Thanks for viewing!

Cheetah Hunt Testing & Theming Continues!

Yesterday our contributer Brad went to the park to check out all the construction on Cheetah Hunt! It turns out that a lot was complete and full circuit testings have begun!
The entrance to the Crossroads is nearing completion and getting more and more details everyday. One of the coolest new things is that the first of many banners have been added to the supports! The first ones appeared on the overbanked turn into the 1st trench. They look pretty good and I can't wait to see the rest of them being put up.
Concrete is being poured all over the place and more walls have come down around the construction site giving us a better look at all the details of this awesome expansion! Also, the wait time sign which is going to be digital like the  Manta one at SeaWorld is now installed and it looks great too! Below that on the left side is the ride regulations for Cheetah Hunt and on the left, the Skyride ride regulations! Testing is continuing too and we have an awesome video including some time lapse footage! Check it all out below and be sure to check back soon for even more Cheetah Hunt construction updates!

Cheetah Hunt Theming & Construction Update!

Today we headed out to Busch Gardens to see how construction has come along for Cheetah Hunt. While testing didn't take place during the time we were there from 9:30am to 1:30pm, we were told that testing did take place yesterday and should take place on and off this week. A full non stop test run has yet to happen but should happen soon and we will be sure to report on it when it does.
First off, Construction walls are down around the trench under the bridge and reveals netting on both sides and over the bridge. Theming is coming along great as usual around the station. Concrete work is almost complete and the walls on the second floor of the Crown Colony were removed giving us an even better look at the construction site. Work is also coming along on the new patio seating for Crown Colony and more poles for what looks to be a new outdoor bar.
Inside the station, there are new coverings on all the lights on the columns and they have awesome cheetah prints and vibrant colors on them. They really add to the warmness of the building. Also inside the station, a new sign has been put up for what we think is for the row numbers. High poles are being put up around the Cheetah Run area and look to be for a new fence of some sort. The arch to enter the crossroads is close to being complete as well and has some great little details in it.
Thanks for viewing and be sure to check back soon because construction is going full speed ahead!
